* Our in-memory tape hit its 500,000-print cap that session, so its figures may undercount.
† That session's summary was rebuilt from our durable archive, which keeps only prints of $10K or more: the print count covers those prints only and premium is not comparable with unmarked sessions. Rank within the session is unaffected.
Marked sessions are left out of the median and have no vs. median figure.

What these numbers are
Premium is the summed notional (premium paid) of the option prints our tape recorded for the underlying during the session. Rank is its place among every underlying on the tape that day by that premium; the end-of-day summary publishes the top 10, so a session where the ticker placed 11th or lower has no row here. Prints is how many option trades made up that premium, and vs. median compares the session with the ticker's median premium across its comparable ranked sessions on this page (marked sessions are counted on a different basis and left out).
Heavy premium is activity, not direction: a large print can open or close a position, and either side of it could be the buyer. The figures come from our end-of-day session summary, published after the close, so this page is delayed by at least one session and is never live. The same session numbers are public in our API at /api/public/briefing?date=YYYY-MM-DD.
These are end-of-day totals. The prints behind them — every trade as it happens, with strike, expiry and size — are on the live Flow terminal for members and trial accounts.
